Subject:New features in your HarmonySite

Dear HarmonySite Administrator,

Several new features have been added to your HarmonySite lately.  Nothing major, just a few improvements.  Hopefully they will be useful.

Donations report

There's a new report in your HarmonySite that simply lists all donations.  If you have multiple "donation targets", then the report shows a breakdown for each target (the right-hand columns)...

To find this new report, open your Admin Dashboard and find the link called "Donations Report".

Offline donations

Do your members sometimes make donations to your group, but don't do it via the website?  Perhaps they simply write a cheque at rehearsal?  Now these donations can be recorded against that member in the database, and will appear in the new "Donations Report" (above).

To do so, simply visit the member's profile page, and locate the link (just above the "Donations" section) called "Record one paid donation from this member".  Click the link and fill in the donation details.  The member will be issued a receipt automatically by the system.

Print complimentary (or any) tickets

It is now possible to print complimentary tickets for any event that you are selling tickets for in your HarmonySite.  Often the best way to get a comp ticket to someone is to actually print it and hand it to them.  That's now possible within your HarmonySite, and the system will even keep track of how many tickets have been created in this manner (counted in the "Sold offline" count).

Note that this will work for ANY type of ticket, not just complimentary ones.

From the event's page, click the "Manage tickets" link at the top of the page, and then look for the link(s) called "Print offline tickets"...

Riser stacks can now work on multiple ensembles

If you have multiple ensembles (e.g. choirs, choruses) within your HarmonySite, and occasionally those ensembles perform together on stage at the same time, then you can now create riser stacks that work on ALL members from the combined ensembles.

To enable this for any stack, simply update the stack and tick the box next to the name of each relevant ensemble.

Note that if a member sings different voice parts in each ensemble, then the voice part shown on the combined stack will be chosen at random from the parts that they sing.

Merchandise items can now be picked up from regular meetings/rehearsals

If you sell merchandise through you're HarmonySite's shopping cart, and you would like to offer the option to allow the merchandise items to be collected from your regular rehearsals/meetings, then there's now an option to allow this.  This is enabled on an item-by-item basis, so update each item that you would like to make available for pick-up, and find the tick-box called "Allow free pick-up from regular meeting/rehearsal"...

If you tick that box, the purchaser will be able to select either free pick-up or pay for shipping/delivery at the time they add the item to their cart.

Large Files Report

There's a new page in your HarmonySite for finding out the largest files that have been uploaded to your site.  This is particularly useful for groups that have not paid for our "Unlimited Storage" option, and are looking to find where all their space has gone, which files are taking up the most space.

The page also identifies "empty" files - files that have been uploaded to the website, but something went wrong and no data actually got uploaded.
